PAINESVILLE, OH – OCTOBER 5, 2017 – Dyson Corp., the leading provider of domestic large diameter fasteners, forgings and machined parts was delighted to be one of the 30+ manufacturers at the fifth annual Think Manufacturing Career Expo at Wickliffe High School on October 5, 2017.
Dyson Corp. spoke with over 600 students to educate them on the various technical careers available to them within the manufacturing industry.
The annual manufacturing career expo is a collaborative effort between the three Lake County Chambers of Commerce — Willoughby Western, Mentor Area and Eastern Lake County.
This expo gives students the opportunity to meet with manufacturing companies face-to-face, listen to presentations and attend workshops to gather the valuable information they’ll need to obtain a career in manufacturing in the near future.
Dyson Corp Human Resources Manager, Donna Lashchuk, commented on the event stating, “we are always looking to add to Dyson’s talent pool, and improve our skill base to maintain a competitive edge with our customers…and what better way to do that than to attract the attention of candidates just entering the job market through an internship or co-op program!”
